Eucalyptus Leaf Steam
Two eucalyptus leaves in a bowl of hot water. Steam is breathed at a safe distance. Leaves only, not the oil.

Eucalyptus leaf steam, not the oil
Two eucalyptus leaves go into a bowl of hot water that is off the boil. You breathe the steam from a safe distance, with a towel loose and a gap left for air. This remedy uses the leaves in water. It does not use eucalyptus essential oil, which is stronger and does not belong in the bowl.
It is not for small children. Steam can burn, and a towel over a child is unsafe. Do not swallow the leaf water. Stop if you feel dizzy or your eyes sting. A cough beyond a few days, wheeze, or fever needs a doctor.
