Important: this remedy is only a supportive home measure. Keep taking any medicine your doctor has prescribed, monitor your readings, and consult your doctor before adding anything new.
A tulsi honey spoon for adults
Six tulsi leaves, crushed for a few drops of juice and mixed with half a teaspoon of honey, make one small spoon for an adult. It is not a glass of juice and not a child dose. Honey is never given to a baby under one year, in any amount.
Take it once in a day, and only for a short spell. People with diabetes should count the honey. This does not cure cough, cold, or asthma. If a cough lasts beyond a few days, or there is wheeze or fever, see a doctor.
