Home remedies for eye twitching: sleep, less caffeine, warm compress and screen breaks
A flickering eyelid is harmless in most cases, but it can be distracting for days. These home remedies for eye twitching target the usual triggers: poor sleep, too much caffeine, screen strain and stress, with a warm compress and simple relaxation to calm the muscle.

What makes the eyelid twitch
Eyelid twitching (myokymia) is a small, involuntary spasm of the eyelid muscle. Tiredness, stress, caffeine, alcohol, dry eyes and long screen hours are the most common triggers, and it usually fades within days to a couple of weeks.
In many Indian homes, a twitching eye is linked with omens; in Ayurveda it is simply seen as a vata sign that responds to rest, warmth and a calmer routine.
